Hey frendio beans! Illithid here, and today we will go over 4 different video games you should play if you love Dungeons and Dragons. Even if you're not that big of a fan of video games, you can still check out this post for some inspiration on your campaigns, or maybe you'll see a character that you like in the photos I'll put in here.
World of Warcraft
Even if you don't really know what the game is about, you have most likely heard the name of the game in your lifetime. World of Warcraft is a classic MMO RPG published and developed by Blizzard Entertainment, where you get to immerse yourself in a world of wonder and magic. Pick a class and race and go explore the world of Azeroth. Team up with friends to take down bosses, go dungeon crawling and then sell your earnings, or go and update your pet collection! WOW costs $14.99 per month for a monthly subscription, so go and have some fun with your frendios!
The Bard's Tale Trilogy
If you want a classic fantasy feel, then go and get the The Bard's Tale Trilogy! Now with gampass, The Bard's Tale Trilogy is a classic collection of the first 3 Bards Tale games, but now there remasterd to and look better then ever, while still keeping the 1990's feel! The games are set in a town called Skara Brae, and in the first game, the evil wizard Mangar has set a terrible winter over the town, and if you don't stop him, then it will remain like this forever! Gather a party of up to 7 and brave the monsters that lurk in the buildings of Skara Brae. Beware the statues that are spread around town! They may seem like they are made out of stone, but if you attack, the turn into a real monster! The game is great, and I highly recommend it.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yet another classic on the list, Skyrim is a classic fantasy game where you pick a race and a class, and then slay shit! You can go on quests, use badass weapons, and even use mods if you have the special addition. There are so many things you can do in this game, so it's great for people that love RPGS for combat and the exploration! Unless you use mods, the game is only single player, so no online game modes or local co-op.
Neverwinter
Neverwinter is an MMO RPG which Wizards of the Coast help make! After picking your class and race, go explore mystical lands while battling monsters, and gaining awsome loot! The game also has several DLCS if you want to go to new places and fight new monsters. Spiky T-rex anyone? The game is free to play, and it can be played on windows, xbox one and S|X, and PS4 and 5.
